MARK WAHLBERG
One of the coolest and well-liked celebrities in Hollywood Mark was not always the guy you would want your daughter to bring home for dinner. A cocky, troubled youth and convicted felon Mark turned his life around with his faith in God and hard work and became the mega star he is today. In 2001 he decided to help others following his rocky footsteps by creating the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation to improve the quality of life for inner city youth through a working partnership with other youth organizations. The Foundation provides financial and community support to assist in making the dreams and ultimate potential of inner city youth become a reality.
To date, the Foundation has raised and distributed nearly $1,000,000 to many organizations.
