DARRIN DeWITT HENSON
After conquering the dance world as the choreographer of choice for Prince, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and N Sync, Darrin DeWitt Henson is poised to conquer movie stardom as well. The winner of MTV’s Best Choreographer has two high profile upcoming films.
Last fall, Henson you may have caught him starring opposite Dennis Quaid and Charles Dutton in the Universal Studios drama The Express where he played the great NFL running back Jim Brown, who became Darrin’s stalwart mentor.
You can see the versatile actor in the futuristic martial arts adventure film Tekken. Based on one of the most successful video games of all time, Henson portrays the character of Raven, scheduled for a Fall 2009 release date to coincide with the home console release of Tekken 6 being released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PlayStation Portable on October 27, 2009. He recently finished filming a starring role in the Jeb Stuart drama Blood Done Sign My Name which is the true story of the 1970 wrongful acquittal of a white man who murdered a black man in Oxford, South Carolina. Charismatic, dashing and entirely self made, Darrin is one to watch.
